Artist Profile

I am creating art that shows what is our past present and future history. I am expressing how the past runs congruent with the future. My perspective is unique because my vision comes from a millennial Black woman’s view that is not the norm of American views. 

I am creating art to  educate and give people a platform where discussions can take place freely. My motivation to create comes from discovering new concepts that need to be reflected upon. I am trying to evoke thought about how our past intersects with our present and how we can better our future . Art is meaningful because it can heal your soul. I am inspired by change and how I can affect people’s views of taboo subjects.

I am creating art by analyzing history that is perceived by the masses as a unitarial thought but can be reanalyzed to understand a different perspective. I tend to use mediums on canvas  that can be layered to achieve emotions sometimes it's oils sometimes pastels more often than not it's an eclectic mix.
